Nicole Gamache

Nicole Gamache is a woman of many talents— clinician, wine enthusiast, and the heart behind a brand born of passion. By day, she’s a highly skilled and compassionate Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), dedicating her career to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based care, clinical leadership, and health advocacy. But by evening, she proudly assumes her “unofficial” role as the Director of Quality Control—a title she wears with great humor and even greater enthusiasm for the perfect pour.

Mon Premier Wines was inspired by Nicole herself. The name is a play on words drawn from French—Mon Premier, meaning my first. It signifies “my first wine for my first love,” a tribute to the woman whose spirit, warmth, and taste helped shape the identity of the brand.  When the brand started her high school sweetheart and husband Mark had one goal.  Craft a wine for the love of his life; something with the depth, balance, and character a worthy gift for a lifetime of companionship.

Nicole devotes her hours outside the hospital to helping grow the grapes and run the business operations, Nicole is the soul behind the label. Her love of wine, her appreciation for life’s simple pleasures, and her belief in savoring every moment are at the very heart of Mon Premier’s philosophy.  In her “quality control” duties at Mon Premier, Nicole ensures no bottle goes untasted. From crisp whites to velvety reds, she approaches every pour with the same thoughtful attention she gives her patients—minus the stethoscope, plus a charcuterie board. Her friends joke that she’s never met a vintage she couldn’t love.

Nicole is known for her vibrant personality, infectious laughter, and ability to pair wine with just about any life moment. Her belief that life should be both meaningful and enjoyed has not only influenced those she works with but also inspired a wine label that celebrates love, beginnings, and the people who make both worthwhile.
